Lauren, Dr. Nikki and the rest of the staff at PortSide have been incredible to work with. The knowledge they had for the situation was spot on and the results were beyond expected. My mother seems very happy and content and it wouldn't have happened without Lauren and Portside staff! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

From the moment I arrived on the campus of Portside I felt my mother would like it!! I was correct and she felt welcomed from Lauren in sales to the front concierge desk and the residents who introduced themselves and invited her to join them for dinner. I highly recommend this Senior living community!

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mom has moved into the independent living of Portside at Grande Dunes. It's great because it has up-to-date decor. It's almost brand new, just 2 years old, and it's just beautiful. Her apartment is also beautiful, everything is updated, and it's just the right size for her. It's decently priced too. I ran into an issue with the billing department, which wasn't good, but everything else has been just wonderful and perfect. We went to an open house there before so I have tried the food, and it was great. As far as I know, there is always a lot of life going around there, a lot of movement, and that's always good at a place like that. I like that they have activities all the time. They gave my mom a little bit of a discount for her monthly rent, and it covered breakfast and dinner. I compared them with other facilities, and they were on par or even below the usual prices so I feel like it's a good value.

I visited this facility I toured Portside at Grande Dunes. I love everything. I love the site. I like the facility, the service, the food, and they do a lot of stuff. They have a lot of field trips and they have guest speakers, they have movies, they have everything, which is why it's so expensive. I went to a room and I was very pleased with the layout. It's sparkling clean. It's bright and sunny. It's just perfect. They have restaurant-like dining. It's very elegant, and you order from a menu, and they have their own chef.

I moved my dad here to Myrtle beach for him to be close by. I toured several facilities and it was a clear decision to choose Portside. From the day he arrived, he has felt comfortable and at home. The staff here is incredible from the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance to management. They assist in every way possible and they do it with a smile. Genuinely…..They work together as a team and really have the residents best interests at heart. I can attest to this as I see it on a daily basis. Two years later I moved my father-in-law in to the assisted living side. They streamlined the process for us making the transition smooth…. They are kind and caring in every way. I LOVE PORTSIDE❤️❤️❤️

The facility is pretty and well maintained. As far as the food goes, I noticed it's a rush. On the independent side they should have it cooked there not Reheated which dries the food out to the point that they leave because they are unable to eat it. Also quite a few of the weight staff are very rude. They just drop the plates in front of the resident. They are not trained.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident What a great place for Mom! The first thing I noticed was that not only did the folks working there seemed happy and liked their jobs, the residents all looked happy. There was always something to do and someone to do it with. Food transitioned a few times to better service and better meals. Management meets with the residents and even listens to how they can make it better. When Mom transitioned to assisted living, the process was seamless and painless. I always felt like Mom was safe and cared for. A resident isn’t just a room number. Administration, management, reception, maintenance and everyone else knew residents by name and what was going on with them. Terrific facility and staff.

After my Dad passed, it became more apparent that my mom could no longer live alone. My husband and I visited about eight assisted living facilities in the Myrtle Beach area. Portside at Grande Dunes was simply outstanding. Lauren Wolf spent several hours with us, answering questions and offering a tour. The assisted living apartments were spacious and well appointed. The dining room and event rooms reminded us of a first class hotel, nicely decorated, clean and inviting. Abi Webb helped us coordinate moving trucks and multiple deliveries as we readied my Mom's room. She even brought the paperwork to my home to be signed. Portside's facilities are beautiful but their best assets are their employees. Everyone, down to a person, is caring and compassionate. They helped my Mom adjust, wheeled her to meals on the days she wasn't feeling too energetic. They pop in for a chat, fix her TV, deliver her mail and get her to the hair salon on time. I'm so grateful to Portside for allowing my Mom to maintain her dignity and independence. I know we made a great choice.

Most everyone at Portside at Grande Dunes seems happy. They have a good Church service there onsite each week on Saturday, mom and Frank seem to be very happy. The staff is continuing to push them with physical therapy of some type pretty much every week day which is so good for them. They have many options for physical therapy too

Portside is one of the nicest in the area... I looked at 7 or 8. It is a little pricey but similar to others I visited.

Heather Meyer, Fitness Instructor is Amazing! Crescent Hospice recently did Olympics Day there and we could not have done it without Heather’s help. Such a gift to the Portside Community.

Food sometimes good they are trying to improve. Some of the menu items are not healthy or not good. Friendliness and activities very good. They don't recycle yet not good. . will work on it. Staff is good. Facility attractive. I would like to see more people in Independent living who are not on walkers.
