This was our second visit to The Summit of Fort Myers. My Mom is in love with the resort. [name removed]was so helpful and kind. Very accommodating to my Mom's needs. We all felt so welcome. We were treated to lunch which was wonderful! She will be a resident coming soon!!

The Summit of Ft Myers is truly living life in paradise! The community has a variety of activities for all likes. The apartments are spacious and the common areas are well appointed. The pool is the highlight of the community and all should tour this fantastic community. You won’t regret it! Fran Gray

I have nothing but great things to say!!! Walking in immediately created by a beautiful scene and smiling faces asking how they could assist! They are all amazing there!!! Keep it up and thank you for the tour!

The Summit is a wonderful place to live. The staff is amazing and tenured. Food is outstanding with a restaurant in walking distance. The best independent community in Fort Myers. It is worth a look see.

We found the facilities bright and light the personal were all friendly and the residents were also friendly. The property was kept neat outside and clean throughout. There are printed lists of activities but while we were there we only saw a few residents “active”. Reading, playing cards, walking and in the gym.

Nice alternative to owning and caring for your own home. Really happy that there is a pool there and activities. Restaurant looks wonderful.Have only had food at events in that we are just looking at this point and are not ready to move yet.

I visited this facility First, what I liked least about The Summit of Fort Myers was when parking your automobile (if you're still driving). There were some covered parking places, but otherwise, your car would be exposed to all the elements. Then what I liked best about it, compared to what I physically saw and to what I looked at on the internet from other facilities, they had more room in their apartments. I liked the kitchen better. It looked more like an actual kitchen than just a wall with a refrigerator and a stove on it. I think at one time, it had been condos or apartments and then they had converted them all to apartments. So, I think each one was a little bit bigger than the average independent living. There's one other thing I did not like. All of the apartments overlook a very nice large courtyard, but each does not have a little lanai (no matter what size) that you could go outside and sit. You would have to go down to the courtyard. Jeremiah was the young man who gave me a tour and he is extremely knowledgeable and very, very friendly. He made you feel right at home. I was impressed. He knew every person we met in the hallway by name. The cleanliness was very good. I noticed all the hallways were carpeted. It was very quiet. They had game rooms and it was very clean and very nice. I liked the layout of the apartments. The one we viewed had a little vestibule when you walked in. Then the kitchen was to the right and you walked ahead into the living room. You were not walking directly from the hallway into your living room. It wasn't particularly bright. There was a large window at the end of the living room and the end of the bedroom. Other than that, since this was not an end unit, there wasn't a lot of light.

It's been very positive. The staff have been very friendly and always helpful. Have responded in reasonable time t o our maintenance requests. The meals fairly good. Some better than others but I understand that happens. Personally I need to eat gluten free but I'm doing fine. Staff is quick and willing to check any food item I question. We feel that our choice of The SUMMITT has been a good one.

It is a nice clean place, but I have seen the menu for next year, and the residents are not happy about the radical reduction of choices that are scheduled to begin in January. Such a shame considering how much they improved the quality of life there last year. Apartments are quite comfortable .

I visited this facility I will be moving into the Summit of Fort Myers. It was a beautiful place and the people were very friendly. The apartment was nice-sized. I was looking at a two-bedroom. They had activities for people. The food was very, very good. They showed me the pool area. They showed me several different apartments, the activity rooms, and the dining room. The staff was very friendly. They have buses to take people to the stores or doctors' appointments.
