My mom moved into this community last week, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. From day one, every single employee has gone out of their way to make sure she has everything she needs. From the administration team to housekeeping, everyone has been incredibly kind, welcoming and attentive. The residents have also been wonderful. So many people have stopped to introduce themselves, say hello, and make my mom feel genuinely welcome. It’s clear that this is a warm and caring community. We are incredibly grateful to know our mom is surrounded by such caring people, and we have complete confidence that she is in the best hands. Thanks for making this transition such a positive experience!
My Mom JoAnn just loved this place. It is like living in a resort. The staff is so friendly and they do a great job keeping the place clean. Mom raved about the food and food service being exceptional. No reason to look anywhere else in Fort Myers.
Everyone I’ve meet, both staff and residents are so kind. I discover something new and amazing every day.
My mother lives at The Summit. The staff is always very welcoming when I come to visit. Especially, Beth, Roy and Ricky. They have a very entertaining Friday night happy hour with dancing and a singer. They provide classes daily which Mother attends. I even join in on water aerobics. It's a quiet comfortable place with very friendly people!
I visited this facility I went to a concert at The Summit of Fort Myers in April. The place was nice and had great amenities. It used to be a condo, and the rooms were bigger. I was looking for probably a third or fourth floor overlooking a courtyard, and they had that. The staff was very friendly. I had numerous calls back, keeping us up-to-date even though I wasn't a resident, inviting me to some of the functions that they had, a dance, a concert, or even to meet others and eat lunch with them. Everyone's friendly. I enjoyed it. The food was well prepared and all set for you. The facilities were very good. There was like a lobby on each floor. They had a recreation room or a small gym. They also had someone who came in and helped people with balance.
The Summit provides all kinds of activities and support for its Residents. We recently moved from out of state and are pleased we found The Summit!
I love it and happy to be here!
My wife and I recently moved both our moms from Palm Beach County into The Summit of Fort Myers so they could be closer to us. We provided several living options to both moms who both ultimately decided on The Summit. For anyone searching for a great independent living facility in Fort Myers, this is where you want to be. The staff is incredibly friendly & patient, the apartments are large, and the dining room chef is exquisite. Special acknowledgement to staff members Anita, Adam, Manny, Janet & Diane. Thank you!!
I am/was a resident of this facility It's very nice here at The Summit of Fort Myers. The food is good, the rooms are large, the people are very friendly, and the maintenance people respond quickly if you have a problem. I like it. They provide two meals a day plus a continental breakfast. It's a one-bedroom apartment, but the rooms are quite large. I was able to bring a three-piece couch and a king-sized bedroom set. You don't feel squeezed in, and the furniture doesn't look funny. There are four floors here, and they have one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites. They have a gym, aerobics classes, water aerobics, and balance classes. The gym is quite well stocked, and there's help if you need it in operating the machines. A lot of games, like a billiards room and many card games, go on here. You can be busy all the time doing something. They have parties around the pool. Friday night is happy hour from 4:00 to 5:00, and then we have dinner, and they have entertainment. The staff is excellent. Most of the time, the food is very good. One time, I didn't care for the entrees, but you always have the option of ordering off another menu that has sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, or soup, if you don't like what's on the menu. The facility is very pretty. The yards are well kept. There are a lot of flowers and plants, and some of the people plant their own out there. We have assigned parking, so you always get the same spot, and it's always there, and nobody else can use it. You can have your pets anywhere.
Everybody has been so friendly and the food is great!
Tammy and Adam always go out of their way to assure Julie and I have everything convenience we need. All is Perfect!🦒🐅🥳
I visited this facility We will be moving into The Summit of Fort Myers. It was very interesting to look at, and it was interesting to be in. It had a lovely saltwater pool. It had a varied luncheon menu, which was good because I'm vegetarian. It had many activities for people, such as card games, many fitness programs, and an exercise room, which is very important to me. It had onsite physical therapy. It had doctors there that will help you, so that if you choose, you can see their doctor or their physician's assistant there instead of going to a doctor way across town. You can get your hair done there. They offer transportation within a ten-mile radius of their location, which was very important to me. They go to Publix once a week. They have many services there. The rooms there were on special, and they were of a larger size than the rooms at the other two places that we visited. The person who gave us the tour, Anita, was very gracious and charming. She went out of her way to reduce the cat fee down to nothing, and gave us a special on the rent. She discounted a month's rent for us in addition to the spacious rooms, and that made it very easy to choose The Summit. The staff was great. They introduced themselves, and they're very professional. The person who prepared the luncheon came out and introduced herself, May, and wanted to know if there was anything she could do for us. She was just very personable and it was just really great. I tried two meals and they were very good. They made me a personal pizza and it was like I had gone to a pizza place and ordered a pizza. They had a nice salad. They would provide two out of three meals five times a week. On Saturday they provide a brunch, and then Sunday you are responsible for your own meals. It was very good.
It is a very nice place... My issue is became I must adhere to a renal diet. They could not accommodate my needs. [name removed] and [name removed] are very nice to work with. I was treated as if I was family...
If it wasnt for Anita and Adam, I would have wondered if i was making the right decision to move. Everyone has been so wonderful, pleasant, and helpful. This community has felt like home and is the best place for me.
My home is my castle. Living at The Summit of Fort Myers I am made to feel like royalty!
I moved here 6 months ago after viewing, in person, several, independent living facilities. I knew what I was looking for, and The Summit met those needs plus so many more. There are numerous, wonderful indoor and outdoor activities. Medical services are close by, and the drive to the beaches is so easy. The staff is competent and so very friendly; I enjoy all the residents; I love my apartment! Am I happy here? You bet! Also, the food is great.
Living at the Summit in Fort Myers, Florida is like living at a resort. It offers everything desirable for a healthy vibrant experience far above expectations. The staff is the dream team of hospitality as well as everyone employed here. They provide a safe welcome place to explore, relax, participate, enjoy and build relationships. Life experiences are often shared with other residents to encourage, inspire and bless. Priceless! I love living here!
My mom chose The Summit of Fort Myers after several interviews with other independent living resorts in the area, and we are SOOOO glad she did! The Summit has turned out to be so much more than a "Place for Mom". All the people at The Summit have gone out of their way to make my mom feel safe, comfortable and cared for. She has made so many friends and takes advantage of all the interesting and fun activities made available to her. The dining has been outstanding with the feel of a full menu restaurant on premises and all inclusive. When I visit Mom, she is all smiles and excited with each day she has been there. Thank you, Summit of Fort Myers, for adding another chapter to her life! I am so grateful!!!
Extremely helpful personnel and excellent activities.
People are friendly, staff is also and no complaints about the food. That and everything is located close by-Walmart, library, drug stores, etc. And no loud traffic noise.
I am a new resident and the people that work here are amazing and so helpful. Everyone is so nice to me! Food is great! Definitely feels like home. Thank you Summit of Fort Myers!
My mother relocated from Illinois recently. She’s happy here—friendly neighbors and staff, lots of activities and food is great.
My Mom loves The Summit! She has made friends and enjoying all the activities. She will be there until Spring and return to Montana for the summer. She looks forward to returning to The Summit next fall.
I visited The Summit of Fort Myers to visit a friend who had recently moved there. From the moment I first walked through the door I was impressed not only by what I saw, but also by the way I felt, the peaceful atmosphere. I became more and more impressed as the day went on. Every staff member I met from the management team to the support personnel were all so personable, dignified, helpful and so well mannered, truly showing personal interest in all of the residents. I was able to enjoy lunch as my friend's guest in a beautiful, spacious outside area by the pool. It was a special lunch in that it was an outdoor BBQ event. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The Summit has an executive chef, kitchen staff and nutritionist that plan and prepare all the meals for the residents. There is also a beautiful indoor dining room. I learned during lunch that members of the management staff were actually helping to serve the food and to clean up! Very impressive. Everywhere I went I could see that the facility is well maintained, clean, bright and cheerful. There are also many conveniences and activities available. When I saw my friend's apartment it eclipsed my expectations. It's just beautiful! Spacious, bright, well appointed. I personally met both Adam and Anita from the management team. Adam gave me a tour of the facility as well as the three styles of units available and was just amazed. Later I was able to visit Anita and get more information and a brochure. My time spent with Anita and Adam was truly a pleasure. My visit to The Summit has opened my eyes to how fabulous independent living in such an environment is. If I had the circumstances presently to move there I'd be signing on the dotted line. Honestly, I can't say enough about The Summit of Fort Myers. A totally “feel good" experience!!!! If you or someone you know is looking for an independent living situation don't hesitate to look at The Summit. This is probably the longest review I've written and have done so even though I'm presently not able to move there. It's that impressive.
I am/was a resident of this facility The Summit of Fort Myers is well-staffed. The facility is wonderful. I'm happy with my apartment and with my new friends. Most of the food is excellent, but at times it leaves a lot to be desired. The staff is wonderful. All the kitchen and dining room staff, and the staff that comes in and cleans, are great. It's taken care of, and it's clean. There's a spa to do your hair and your nails. The activities are great. In fact, another lady and I taught most of the people there to play a card game named Samba. Almost everybody is playing that. They have bingo. Every place is too high, but I would rate the value for money just fine compared to the others.
I visited this facility The independent living community of The Summit of Fort Myers was very well-maintained. The grounds and the building itself are all clean and neat. The personnel were very nice and accommodating. They all were happy to speak with me, or seemed to be. I didn't meet very many people who live there, although I did meet two or three, and they all seemed very nice and very happy with the place. They were great folks, especially the lady who came with me and guided me around. The individual apartments were certainly adequate for what I'm looking for. The ones I saw were one-bedroom apartments, which is all I need. They had complete kitchens and washers and dryers, which I thought was excellent. They had a very nice swimming pool, and the area around it seemed to be very pleasant, very nice, and sunny. I was very impressed with this place. I saw the dining room, and it was very nice and laid out well. Overall, it seems to me that great care was taken in making this place into a home for seniors.
My parents love it here. The staff is very friendly, I’m thrilled that they have a place like this that they can call home.
Friendly atmosphere. Feels like home already. Just moved in . Will continue to adjust and meet the other residents.
Nestled quietly in a discreet and peaceful location, the Summit of Fort Myers is an ideal community to call home for you or your loved one. The staff are all friendly and attentive and community spirit is alive and well. As a healthcare agency owner, I highly recommend the Summit of Fort Myers.
Chrissy and Tammy are terrific
Mi suegro esta hospedado en este lugar y me parece que tienen todo lo que necesitas para pasar dias agradables, comer sabroso y vivir tranquilos. El disfruta mucho su estadía en este lugar.
Before moving to The Summit, I checked out several other senior living facilities. Some were nice, while others were not so much. I hadn’t considered The Summit because I thought it was a condo.A Place for Mom suggested it and I made an appointment. The staff were so nice and toured the place with me. I even had a sample meal there too. The food was top restaurant quality. This was important to me since I do not cook. The agent selected an apartment for me near the elevator and parking which suited me well as I use a walker. I have a nice view where I can see out over the trees from the fourth floor, as well as sight of the road. I like to see life passing by in some sort of way. I feel like I’m living in a high class hotel or on a cruise ship. The meals are provided along with lots of activities. The bus will go various places like groceries and shopping, even the flea market or casino. It’s nice to have housekeeping too. I am very pleased to have made the move.
There are all the comforts of home wonderful experience each and every day day
I am/was a resident of this facility I moved to The Summit of Fort Myers. The people and the residents are friendly. The food is good. They have lots of activities, and they want to make sure I'm comfortable, so they introduce me to their activities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They speak in full sentences and are easy to understand. The structure is superlative. They play cards. They have swimming, chair yoga, and exercise. The rooms are generously sized, and the layout is comparable to my home.
Great people, Great Staff, love visiting my Nana here♡
If you are looking for a happy community, this is the place to be! Friendly staff. Great food. Lots of community activities. Be as engaged as you want to be in this lovely place. In a part of town that is relatively close to beaches too!
This was our second visit to The Summit of Fort Myers. My Mom is in love with the resort. [name removed]was so helpful and kind. Very accommodating to my Mom's needs. We all felt so welcome. We were treated to lunch which was wonderful! She will be a resident coming soon!!
The Summit of Ft Myers is truly living life in paradise! The community has a variety of activities for all likes. The apartments are spacious and the common areas are well appointed. The pool is the highlight of the community and all should tour this fantastic community. You won’t regret it! Fran Gray
I have nothing but great things to say!!! Walking in immediately created by a beautiful scene and smiling faces asking how they could assist! They are all amazing there!!! Keep it up and thank you for the tour!
The Summit is a wonderful place to live. The staff is amazing and tenured. Food is outstanding with a restaurant in walking distance. The best independent community in Fort Myers. It is worth a look see.
We found the facilities bright and light the personal were all friendly and the residents were also friendly. The property was kept neat outside and clean throughout. There are printed lists of activities but while we were there we only saw a few residents “active”. Reading, playing cards, walking and in the gym.
I love The Summit! Everyone is so kind and welcoming! This truly is a wonderful place to live! The residents are always engaged and happy. The Summit provides such a beautiful place for the people of SW Florida to call home!
Nice alternative to owning and caring for your own home. Really happy that there is a pool there and activities. Restaurant looks wonderful.Have only had food at events in that we are just looking at this point and are not ready to move yet.
I visited this facility First, what I liked least about The Summit of Fort Myers was when parking your automobile (if you're still driving). There were some covered parking places, but otherwise, your car would be exposed to all the elements. Then what I liked best about it, compared to what I physically saw and to what I looked at on the internet from other facilities, they had more room in their apartments. I liked the kitchen better. It looked more like an actual kitchen than just a wall with a refrigerator and a stove on it. I think at one time, it had been condos or apartments and then they had converted them all to apartments. So, I think each one was a little bit bigger than the average independent living. There's one other thing I did not like. All of the apartments overlook a very nice large courtyard, but each does not have a little lanai (no matter what size) that you could go outside and sit. You would have to go down to the courtyard. Jeremiah was the young man who gave me a tour and he is extremely knowledgeable and very, very friendly. He made you feel right at home. I was impressed. He knew every person we met in the hallway by name. The cleanliness was very good. I noticed all the hallways were carpeted. It was very quiet. They had game rooms and it was very clean and very nice. I liked the layout of the apartments. The one we viewed had a little vestibule when you walked in. Then the kitchen was to the right and you walked ahead into the living room. You were not walking directly from the hallway into your living room. It wasn't particularly bright. There was a large window at the end of the living room and the end of the bedroom. Other than that, since this was not an end unit, there wasn't a lot of light.
It's been very positive. The staff have been very friendly and always helpful. Have responded in reasonable time t o our maintenance requests. The meals fairly good. Some better than others but I understand that happens. Personally I need to eat gluten free but I'm doing fine. Staff is quick and willing to check any food item I question. We feel that our choice of The SUMMITT has been a good one.
I am currently a resident at The Summit of Fort Myers. This place is great! I can't say it better...everything is top of the line...wonderful!
It is a nice clean place, but I have seen the menu for next year, and the residents are not happy about the radical reduction of choices that are scheduled to begin in January. Such a shame considering how much they improved the quality of life there last year. Apartments are quite comfortable .
I visited this facility I will be moving into the Summit of Fort Myers. It was a beautiful place and the people were very friendly. The apartment was nice-sized. I was looking at a two-bedroom. They had activities for people. The food was very, very good. They showed me the pool area. They showed me several different apartments, the activity rooms, and the dining room. The staff was very friendly. They have buses to take people to the stores or doctors' appointments.
I like it very much, everyone is so nice and keep busy, it’s great! Been here 6 years.
It’s a very friendly place!

It’s very friendly place to live. The staff is very good. My cat loves it here too!
Residents and staff very friendly- I love it here!
The people and activities and the spacious living accommodations are great!
. Everyone has been friendly and helpful. She loves the meals. It's all been good. We picked this community because of the size of the community and size of apt. I would recommend to others.
