I cannot say enough great sentiments about Palm Bay Memory Care! Starting with Megan, who truly embraces the meaning of a caring human being! From the very beginning of our journey with my Uncle Ken, who is traveling a journey with Dementia, all the way to his acceptance and ability to move in this month, we are blessed! She was able to save our family and reestablish the hope we all needed to truly make him comfortable. His journey hasn’t been easy, especially at the 2 previous Memory Care Centers he resided at. My expectations have been surpassed already! The caring team at PBMC will blow you away! From the front desk attendant, to the amazing nurses, Ariel being one of them, and the leadership team, the Chef, and all the employees, we are so happy! Ariel is caring, helpful, a great communicator, and immediately put me at ease. She, like everyone at PB, really do seem to love their jobs. We visited several times to ensure this was the right match and the fact that every single employee (and residents!) stopped to say hello, introduce themselves, and make us feel comfortable, made a huge difference and is like no other MC center in our county. The Chef made a special meal, spent some time with us, and was obviously engaged with the residents. It is easy to tour and look on the internet, but take it from us, you just “feel” it when you are there! We met the Executive Director, she was kind, very engaging, and wanted to make sure this was the best final home for Ken. The other huge factor in wanting Ken to reside at PB, Megan continued to follow up just to check on us months ago when I first called and inquired, all the way through him moving in. She was there to listen and give referrals and advice when no one else wanted to understand and get to know Ken as a person…not as a patient! Another first for a MC center! I never expected to have a terrible experience when this started over a year and a half ago, but PB is the only place I would want for our family. She even referred me to get his Psych visit and care giver to help with his overall health, while he was in ANOTHER center! The previous center dropped the ball for 5 months and talk about a night and day difference. Additionally, they have engaging programs, I have received follow up calls, he is getting Dr, visits and communicating, Ken is getting settled, and I just know in my heart, they are the best. It is always clean, smells fresh, the residents are genuinely happy (I have met several now!) and everyone is always talking, walking around, and engaging, It is lively, but peaceful. I wanted to take the time to compliment in great appreciation and to help others who are traveling on this same journey. It can devastate, confuse, and test everything…but it doesn’t have to define you. There are caring people who work as a team and really make a difference. Palm Bay Memory Care is the PLACE! So grateful.

We were moving my mother in law from SC to Florida while we live in NY and needed to find an assisted living facility with memory care near a relative. I contacted A Place for mom and [name removed] was amazing! She set up virtual tours for us and kept in contact every step of the way. Would highly recommend them.

We are so pleased with the care that my aunt is getting here! We don’t live nearby but we are able to see her participating in all the fun events they have for the residents in the videos Palm Bay Memory Care posts on their facebook page. It really is wonderful and gives us a huge amount of peace and comfort knowing that she is having a good time and living her best life, despite her dementia. Thank you so much!!!! We are truly grateful!!

I am very pleased with the awesome care my husband receives at Palm Bay Memory Care Center. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I was so nervous when I made the difficult decision to place him in a facility but meeting with the sales director, I instantly felt at ease. She was wonderful helping me through this transition. I am so grateful I found such a caring place for my loved one.

I recently visited my parents for the first time at PBMC. I was already happy with the level of professionalism and assistance given to me and my parents by the sales and directorial staff during the transition process. They went out of their way to help accommodate my parents as well as myself with the managerial process. I was very happy with the nurses which is most important. They were extremely kind, competent and caring. I was also very happy with the nurse assistants and cleaning staff overseeing my parents. The guest hosts were also great as well as the accounting staff. The facility was very clean, and my parent's rooms were well kept. The interior seems less like a memory care or "institution" then other places I visited. It feels more "homely," and is nicely decorated. The courtyard is very nice. I'm very pleased.

I want to express my deep gratitude to all the employees of Palm Bay Memory Care. My husband is a resident of the facility and he is thriving there. I appreciate everyone who has helped with his transition into his new home. Erika has gone above and beyond with her attentiveness to the residents needs. She is a true asset to the facility. I enjoy seeing the photos posted of all the activities he is doing there. He always has a smile on his face. I appreciate every one of you for your work and dedication. This is the place for your loved one to be if you want peace of mind knowing they are well cared for and treated like family. Thank you all!!

Erika was amazing with my husband. She was patient and caring and continually trying to engage him in activities. She also kept me well informed with what was going on with him, which is more than I can say about where he is at now. My husband is young and physically fit and kept climbing the fence to get out. He would still be at Palm Bay Memory Care if they hadn’t required me to pay for one on one care 24 hours a day along with the facility fees.

Erika Stewart is very knowledgeable and caring. She runs the facility with a heart for residents. Coping with a parent who you love, but who is changing physically and mentally can be overwhelming. Erika displays an empathetic ear and practical advice and support.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My brother was at Palm Bay Memory Care for respite and he liked it there. I would go and visit them and maybe take them out for lunch or something. They were very attentive. Everybody was very good. All the nurses right away answered my questions or whatever. Meghan, she was great. She sold me on the whole idea of just doing the respite and it worked out perfectly. All the staff was nice. They have long hallways and wrap around so they can get around in a circle kind of and then there's a thing in the middle where they can go out in and out as you please. So they could go out and sit at a gazebo or take a walk in the garden, and they're safe to do that. The rooms are very nice. They have movies every night. My brother said most of the time the food was good, but there were days or sometimes he didn't care for it.
