My mom moved into this community last week, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. From day one, every single employee has gone out of their way to make sure she has everything she needs. From the administration team to housekeeping, everyone has been incredibly kind, welcoming and attentive. The residents have also been wonderful. So many people have stopped to introduce themselves, say hello, and make my mom feel genuinely welcome. It’s clear that this is a warm and caring community. We are incredibly grateful to know our mom is surrounded by such caring people, and we have complete confidence that she is in the best hands. Thanks for making this transition such a positive experience!

My Mom JoAnn just loved this place. It is like living in a resort. The staff is so friendly and they do a great job keeping the place clean. Mom raved about the food and food service being exceptional. No reason to look anywhere else in Fort Myers.

My mother lives at The Summit. The staff is always very welcoming when I come to visit. Especially, Beth, Roy and Ricky. They have a very entertaining Friday night happy hour with dancing and a singer. They provide classes daily which Mother attends. I even join in on water aerobics. It's a quiet comfortable place with very friendly people!

I visited this facility I went to a concert at The Summit of Fort Myers in April. The place was nice and had great amenities. It used to be a condo, and the rooms were bigger. I was looking for probably a third or fourth floor overlooking a courtyard, and they had that. The staff was very friendly. I had numerous calls back, keeping us up-to-date even though I wasn't a resident, inviting me to some of the functions that they had, a dance, a concert, or even to meet others and eat lunch with them. Everyone's friendly. I enjoyed it. The food was well prepared and all set for you. The facilities were very good. There was like a lobby on each floor. They had a recreation room or a small gym. They also had someone who came in and helped people with balance.

My wife and I recently moved both our moms from Palm Beach County into The Summit of Fort Myers so they could be closer to us. We provided several living options to both moms who both ultimately decided on The Summit. For anyone searching for a great independent living facility in Fort Myers, this is where you want to be. The staff is incredibly friendly & patient, the apartments are large, and the dining room chef is exquisite. Special acknowledgement to staff members Anita, Adam, Manny, Janet & Diane. Thank you!!

I am/was a resident of this facility It's very nice here at The Summit of Fort Myers. The food is good, the rooms are large, the people are very friendly, and the maintenance people respond quickly if you have a problem. I like it. They provide two meals a day plus a continental breakfast. It's a one-bedroom apartment, but the rooms are quite large. I was able to bring a three-piece couch and a king-sized bedroom set. You don't feel squeezed in, and the furniture doesn't look funny. There are four floors here, and they have one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites. They have a gym, aerobics classes, water aerobics, and balance classes. The gym is quite well stocked, and there's help if you need it in operating the machines. A lot of games, like a billiards room and many card games, go on here. You can be busy all the time doing something. They have parties around the pool. Friday night is happy hour from 4:00 to 5:00, and then we have dinner, and they have entertainment. The staff is excellent. Most of the time, the food is very good. One time, I didn't care for the entrees, but you always have the option of ordering off another menu that has sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, or soup, if you don't like what's on the menu. The facility is very pretty. The yards are well kept. There are a lot of flowers and plants, and some of the people plant their own out there. We have assigned parking, so you always get the same spot, and it's always there, and nobody else can use it. You can have your pets anywhere.

I visited this facility We will be moving into The Summit of Fort Myers. It was very interesting to look at, and it was interesting to be in. It had a lovely saltwater pool. It had a varied luncheon menu, which was good because I'm vegetarian. It had many activities for people, such as card games, many fitness programs, and an exercise room, which is very important to me. It had onsite physical therapy. It had doctors there that will help you, so that if you choose, you can see their doctor or their physician's assistant there instead of going to a doctor way across town. You can get your hair done there. They offer transportation within a ten-mile radius of their location, which was very important to me. They go to Publix once a week. They have many services there. The rooms there were on special, and they were of a larger size than the rooms at the other two places that we visited. The person who gave us the tour, Anita, was very gracious and charming. She went out of her way to reduce the cat fee down to nothing, and gave us a special on the rent. She discounted a month's rent for us in addition to the spacious rooms, and that made it very easy to choose The Summit. The staff was great. They introduced themselves, and they're very professional. The person who prepared the luncheon came out and introduced herself, May, and wanted to know if there was anything she could do for us. She was just very personable and it was just really great. I tried two meals and they were very good. They made me a personal pizza and it was like I had gone to a pizza place and ordered a pizza. They had a nice salad. They would provide two out of three meals five times a week. On Saturday they provide a brunch, and then Sunday you are responsible for your own meals. It was very good.
