[name removed] who took us on the tour was splendid. She listened carefully to my friend's needs and took us to units that met those needs. [name removed] who I guess is the business manager handled the lease in short order and answered all our questions. The staff is quite responsive. My friend loves getting food at the Bistro where she can get a range of options over a several hour period if she doesn't want to go to the dining room. Finally my friend is selling her car as she finds the transportation service offered at town village to meet most of her needs.

I have never been in this building and not seen residents not having the best time! I work with a home health and hospice agency (Enhabit) and have the absolute pleasure of collaboratively working with staff and residents in this facility. From health talks and fun events, to making sure the residents are being taken care of, it's a beautiful collaboration. The resident engagement is top tier and that's because the staff goes above and beyond to ensure this place feels like a home for everyone who lives there. Have I mentioned how beautiful this place is? because it is! Couldn't recommend this place enough for your loved ones.

I chose Town Village Vestavia Hills because of the pool, the washer and dryers are in each unit, and the friendliness of the staff and residents. The rent goes up so much each year.

Town Village is a beautiful facility in a lovely setting. It offers a wide range of activities, has multiple dining options with quality food, with a dependable staff and good management. The apartments are large and well laid out, and the entire village is peaceful and friendly.

My father lived at Town Village for 4 plus years and it was a wonderful, happy home for him. It is well-managed, with very responsive staff, and the residents are welcoming to newcomers. The grounds are beautiful, the apartments are spacious and sunny, and the residents are active. It was an all around great place to live and find community.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mother is at Town Village Vestavia Hills. It is an independent living facility. They offer apartments essentially for senior individuals, and they provide three meals a day, lots of activities, and transportation to stores, medical appointments, and other events around Birmingham. They do a good job. They have a library area, a theater area, a craft room, and a main lobby outside the dining hall that's used for a lot of events on Thursdays and they have happy hour. They keep a book for people to sign up for various classes, events, or transportation. They have a dining facility that provides three meals a day during the week, and two meals on the weekend, but then they also have a bistro, a separate, small, dining area where they provide snacks, soup, and a sandwich. I've eaten there and the food was very good. I've met the administrator, Steve, and the front desk staff and maintenance staff. I've met them all.

Lolita Cobb is undoubtedly a valuable member of this community. She adeptly guided me through the intricacies and offered me a vivid glimpse into the lifestyle my grandmother would experience here. I can affirm with confidence that this is an exceptional place, meticulously maintained and upheld. Even the housekeeping staff excel in their roles, further enhancing the overall experience.

We finally convinced my mom to move up to Birmingham from FL a few months ago, and set about finding an independent living facility for her. I checked reviews and top 10 lists and we went to tour them. Town Village was the first place I walked into. I know I was picturing something like a nursing home, but what I found here astonished me. I quickly gave it the nickname "The Party Cruise Ship." There were so many residents out and about everywhere, doing all different activities, and laughing and talking together. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and answered every question. I spoke with so many residents and they were friendly, and loved Town Village. We toured other facilities in Birmingham, and none of them came close. My mom moved in this past September, and loves it! It's sometimes hard to get her on the phone because she's always busy doing something there! The food is great, so many choices, and maintenance and the staff are always accommodating. I know my mother would agree - Town Village was hands down the best choice!

Town Village is a place full of friendly smiling people — residents and staff alike. Making a transition from a home to independent living is a bit scary. My family and I were very unsure of our decision and the unknowns we might face. The Town Village staff and residents helped my mom and my family make the transition so much easier. The best part is all the people interactions and activities! I can’t imagine having my mom and mother-in-law anywhere else.

Loved the pool, library, & spaces. Walking from one space to another can be tiring. So maybe some benches or chairs in the hallways would be nice for resting.
