Hello, my name is Betsy Ward. I’m 86 and I am a happy resident of the Summit Of citrus Hills. I’ve lived here for two years and am very pleased with my life here. The Summit has a washer and dryer in each apartment. Heated pool and hot tub. Transportation for shopping doctors and trips. The activities here are wonderful. Many different activities. It is a special place to me. This is a great community of wonderful friends. The community has full-time food and three meals with very tempting variety of food. Come and visit and take a look at my beautiful home.
I love it here. Everybody is friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and plentiful. I’ve only lived here a few months and am happy here. Housekeeping is excellent. Maintenance is always available. The games are fun and the people in the life enrichment make everyone comfortable. My friends are always welcome. You get what you pay for. There is transportation available for personal appointments. It’s quiet and homey. I feel totally comfortable.

I have lived at the summit of citrus hills for four years. I feel very safe and well and cared for. Many activities are available of interest. Excellent culinary staff and no complaints about the food. Friendly atmosphere and made many friends.
I am a resident here for the last 2 years. The people here are amazing we are always laughing and smiling. The community is first class. We have a wonderful workout room with first class equipment with an excellent fitness director. We have a pool and at least 11 different options to do during the day. There are three dining rooms and the food is pretty good. The housekeeping is well done. I personally could not be happier.
I have been in this community for seven years. To date, my time in this community has been excellent and comfortable. With regard to culinary and dining, I would say that it is good to excellent. Food presentation and service on a daily basis is of a commendable nature. Overall management is well staffed and uses the latest digital and conventional programs in communicating with the residents. Although housekeeping does have staffing issues, they continue to provide excellent and outstanding cleaning and maintenance of our common areas, inside and out. In summary, the Life Enrichment, fitness, clinical, maintenance, sales & business provide efficient and outstanding services for residents. I am most appreciative of this community for providing me with a comfortable, safe and secure retirement home.
Prior to selling my home, I visited several independent living facilities in Citrus County and upon visiting The Summit of Citrus Hills, I knew that this was the community I would choose. I was very much impressed by the number of amenities that were available to the residents. I was especially impressed with the cleanliness of the community. I have met many wonderful residents that I now consider "friends of mine". I appreciate the friendliness of the staff from the front desk receptionists to the individuals who clean my apartment. I would highly recommend The Summit of Citrus Hills to those looking for a place in Citrus County. Sincerely, George M
Excellent facility, They have done an excellent job taking care of my parents. Great staff and great food.
My mom was a resident of Grand Living for almost three years. She described her stay as a cruise ship on land. She loved her time there and considered "The Grand" as her home. The staff is wonderful, caring and compassionate. My mom would tell me things that the staff would do for her. I would have to remind her that they were going beyond their scope of duties and responsibilities but then realized how much they cared for someone in the twilight of their life. I so enjoyed hearing the stories of Mom's activities and adventures. Mom was certainly loved by her Grand Living family. It was a blessing to have her at The Grand.

It was the best food I have ever had and the service was top notch and the executive director interacted with me and my family.
Grand Living is such a beautiful and clean facility. They truly care for everyone who walks through their door. I would highly recommend!
My Mom has been a Grand Living Lavender Lane resident since June, 2023. I'm so thankful for how well she's doing, especially as compared to before she moved there. I directly attribute her improvements to the nursing staff and aides, who treat her with so much respect and love. From my perspective, they treat my Mom just as they would their own mothers - with love, compassion, humor, empathy, etc. I am onsite very frequently and always find it to be impeccably clean and well run. Every department that I've interacted with (management, dining, nursing, housekeeping, maintenance, finance, etc) is committed to providing a safe and high quality environment for their residents. The results are clear - my Mom is doing incredibly well.
Grand Living is a beautiful place to live and the staff is so Kind and caring !! So many Awesome amenities!!
What a beautiful building, friendly family like atmosphere what a pleasure to be part of this community. Executive Director is easily available to answer questions and problem solve any situation. Business Managers readily available to assist if and when needed. The Director of health and wellness and her team are top notch. Director of fitness and memory care Director her absolutely phenomenal. Thank You Citrus Hills for your support!
I have enjoyed the privilege of being in and out of Grand Living over several years and have been positively impressed with their facility. All of the Staff I have encountered have gone out of their way to make the residents feel at home. I only hope it is available when I need it.
Grand Living is the best of the best. If you are looking for a great place to live, this is the place! The food is excellent, the care is exceptional!
TRULY A BLESSING FROM GOD In 2007 we decided to make Terra Vista Florida our retirement home. In 2013 Bob had his first spine surgery that affected his legs. The surgery was successful. Then in 2023 Bob started having the same spine problems. This time the doctor said at his age they would suggest PT over surgery. We started a program, but it was very tiring and time consuming. This meant getting Bob in the car, out of the car, in the building and then again in and out of the car. This made Bob tired and weak, and his condition did not improve. This also did not relieve Jan’s other duties, which included making meals, cleaning, laundry etc. Bob began to fall, and we needed to find help to get him up. We had watched Grand Living being built and decided to come take a tour and hopefully put our name on the residence list. We came and toured on June 19th. We were very impressed. They had an opening for the type of room we were interested in and said we could have it, if we closed by June 30th. As a result, we moved on July 20th which was exactly one month from when we took a tour. We decided this was meant to be and couldn’t be more pleased. Bob was able to start PT at Grand Living and the trainers came right to the room. After he got stronger, they were able to take him to the fitness center in Grand Living. The longer we are here, the more activities we become involved in. Having three balanced meals a day has also helped us become healthier, and Jan really enjoys the cleaning service we get each week in our apartment. We are so very impressed with the positive attitudes of both the residents and staff. They want you to succeed. They have such a variety of activities that are designed to keep you stronger and healthier. In addition, each staff member knows you and addresses you by name. It is truly a very healthy environment.
I am the caregiver for a resident who has lived here for a number of years. His level of care has been truly outstanding. He recently had a serious heart attack. His pendant was activated causing a team effort to be employed flawlessly with great speed. Health care professionals at Grand Living in conjunction with Citrus County Fire Department Paramedics had this Resident diagnosed and transported in a timely manner where proper treatment was rendered saving his life. He is now back at Grand Living enjoying living and life.
I am the daughter of one of the residents at Grand Living / Citrus Hills and I want to sing 🎤 praises for this wonderful facility! My mom has lived there for almost two years and the true care and compassion that is shown to her (from environmental services to Facets services to Fitness staff to Gourmet food services to Nursing/caregiver staff to Billing manager and all the way to Director) has been such a blessing to my mom and to each family member! All I can say is WOW and thank you from the bottom of my heart! :)
My parents have been at Grand Living Citrus Hills for 6 months. We could not be more thrilled with the kindness of the caregivers. The attentiveness of everyone one that works there is amazing. Such a beautiful place with great food, lots of activities and positive personnel.
I feel so very blessed to be a part of Grand Living Citrus Hills. Our community exhibits so much love and kindness among the residents and staff there is no other place like this. I am very very excited to be part of this community and would highly recommend to anybody seeking a retirement community. We offer love, kindness, fun-filled activities, delicious foods, and residents and staff that go above and beyond. Our executive director, Mrs.Terri Mohler, is one of the kindest, most giving people I have ever met. Once again I feel truly truly blessed to be part of such a great community and look forward to many many years within this amazing community. Where you are always greeted with a kind smile, a warm hug, and pure love when entering Grand Living. Definitely First Class Happiness!
A wonderful place with caring and compassionate staff. The food is also amazing!! They truly take care of every possible need of their residents. We are very fortunate to have this beautiful facility here in Citrus County. From personal experience as a nurse their staff members are well trained and assess every possible health need and report directly to the residents health practitioner to nip things in the bud so to speak. I highly recommend Grand Living!!

The Grand Living Community is one of my favorite places as a professional to visit All the Residents look great and seem to be very happy. . The Chef makes the best shrimp and grits in the county. Yes the best!! The bread pudding is phenomenal. The life Enrichment Department does a wonderful job with the Residents entertainment and activities. I was able to see a great group of ladies perform songs from the Andrew Sisters!

We visited Grand living when we were looking for a place for our mother in law. She absolutely loved it. We had the Director Terri show us around she was very professional never pressured us. Our mother in law couldn’t believe all the amenities and the staff were so helpful with anything we needed. I told the Director heck when we retire we should just live here! Terri went above and beyond to make sure of all our resources to make the process smooth . Our mother in law at the last minute decided to be by her daughter in Indiana. I definitely would recommend this beautiful place to anyone that is looking for their parents or themselves. Absolutely beautiful ! Thank you Terri!
We have visited Grand living for an event and the staff was amazing. Our service in the dining area was excellent and the food was displayed beautifully. Terri was an excellent host and the staff was professional.
I Have attended several events at this community. It is extremely clean, friendly staff, and happy residents. The Executive Director (Terri)goes above & beyond to create a warm, professional, and caring atmosphere! 5 stars & beyond - totally blown away at this resort style building & awesome leadership.
Can not say enough good things about Citrus Hills Grand Living. In my many experiences, residents are treated with the utmost respect and care. Staff are always warm and welcoming. It’s immaculately clean, food is top notch, and it’s just a beautiful location with so much for the residents to do. Terri the Director is someone who leads by example and you can tell genuinely cares about every single resident, employee and overall experience that takes place at her facility.
I have visited with residents on multiple occasions at Grand Living. I have never witnessed anything less than top notch care from the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. This just goes to show that Terri is an excellent leader with a wonderful team!
My mom lived at Grand Living for two years and loved the whole experience. She is no longer with us, but her last years were among the best of her life living there and being so well cared for. We were always treated well, too, as family members, and we visited her many times a week, so we know first-hand how she was treated and what her living conditions were while she was there. We are glad she was able to be a resident at Grand Living.
