The staff is so friendly not only to family but also to the residents. You can tell that they truly treat each resident as family.
I struggled for months to make a decision on what was the best for my mom. Marie and the ladies here were amazing . I visited the facility several times and asked a million questions but they were always sweet and nice to me and answered everyone of them. They helped me coordinate the move and were with us each step of the way. My mom loves it here and she is doing great. I would highly recommend!
#5 some key positions open; #6 new chef now hired; #7 too much bingo, would prefer more educational presentations, visitors from NASA, zoo, nature, museums, etc. Several staff in leadership positions have been promoted from within the setting, several have been there more than 5 years. I appreciate the continuity and perspective they bring. We liked the size of the community, open feel of community spaces, size of 1 bedroom apartment, friendly staff and front desk, very approachable Executive Director.
The staff is wonderful. They always keep me informed and you can tell they truly care about their residents. The facility is always clean and smells nice.
My wife is at the Shores. We just had a family birthday party for her on Saturday. The staff was outstanding in helping with the party. Decorating the private dinning, providing fruit, helping to set up and take everything down. The family couldn't have been treated any better. The Shores is the gold standard for families who have loved ones with dementia/Alzheimers issues. The staff is outstanding in their care and attention to the residents and their families.
The community is clean and well managed. [name removed] is friendly, professional and informative. I have toured numerous facilities in the area and this is by far the best. It seems more like a home than any of the others.
What we like the most about The Shores at Clearlake is the overall friendliness of the staff and how they seem to know what each tenant's needs are.
The Shores at Clear Lake has been a good place for Mom. The staff and caregivers are great. The in house therapy has been very good for Mom. They have lots of activities and a good atmosphere in the facility.
The Shores at Clearlake is wonderful place for my parents. It is very well laid out, clean, organized and safe. There are daily activities which encourages community interactions, and the food was good whenever I visited. The staff is always smiling and always very helpful. All seem to truly care for the residents.
i just wanted to say this apartment complex is AMAZING, they helped my grandmother with the moving in process. Huge thank you to Nubia , she was so patience and so nice .
Thank you for taking such good care of my grandmother. She was my person in life, and visiting her always gave me joy at this facility. Movies on, the interior is soft nautical tones, a beautiful courtyard, and lots of natural lighting. This is where I would want to stay too. Thank you again ❤️

No complaints - very clean and staff helpful while we were moving in. In general, pay attention to details - it can be a stressful time and there can be a tendency to rush thru. Pay attention, listen attentively to everything and everyone - friendly chat to staff and residents can be telling. My last point if it fits anywhere is more general to any spot a family decides on, is to get to know a staff person - make a connection that you enjoy with a knowledgeable person who interacts with your loved one- so they know you are there even if not physically there. It's helpful to have another contact at the residence for eyes, ears and heart of your family person.

I can’t say enough good things about The Shores at Clear Lake. The staff is unbelievably compassionate and supportive. My dad was in the assisted living side of the community and we were in the process of transferring him to the memory care side. The staff was absolutely great in helping us with this transfer. Unfortunately, my dad had to be hospitalized and he passed away before he could actually move to memory care. But I have no doubt that side of the community would have been just as amazing as the assisted living. Thank you to everyone at The Shores for keeping my dad comfortable and safe for these past months. And a special thanks to dad’s housekeeper (I’m embarrassed that her name escapes me) who shared a few stories of dad and cried with me when I was clearing things from his apartment. I highly recommend The Shores at Clear Lake.
Coming from a previous assisted living facility we found The Shores to be a pleasant surprise. Over time my mom with some memory issues has improved and become significantly happier. It's been a long time since we have seen her smile and laugh this way. The thing that sticks out the most is how much the staff care and how it is consistently the same people. There is very little turnover of staff here. The pharmacy they use is fairly priced in comparison to nearby facilities, the medical staff that make weekly rounds are communicative with family members, there have been zero issues with getting even an over the counter supplement approved quickly and the meds nurses are on point with dosage. Such a beautiful change and we could not be more pleased.
I had my dad on the memory care side, and I can honestly say this was one of the best facilities he has been in the staff was very nice. If you ever have a problem, you can speak to anyone and it will be taken care of. The facility is very clean.
The facility is beautiful, clean, and very inviting. The staff is caring, attentive, and extremely accommodating. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. They provide many activities to keep the residents engaged.
My uncle Roger was in memory care and the assistant Christina was great with us. She made sure the staff knew to constantly check on him. My uncle passed in his sleep with us by his side and the asst director Isabel and sales person Marie that helped us came to give their condolences and truly made us feel like family. I am going to miss these ladies and hope they know what an impact they made on our family.
Most fantastic people I’ve ever met! Helped my grandfather and grandmother make the switch from the hospital to the assisted living community very well. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!

What a great place! Everyone is so friendly! You can't help but feel happy the moment you walk in the building! Memory care is just what my family was looking for my great aunt, she loves living here and we think the care is the best staff in town. They treat her like family with care, love and respect.
It is a nice looking facility in terms of interior and exterior design. The food could be better. Yes, we would recommend The Shores at Clearlake to other families.
Laquisha you are so amazing with all your residents. I can see how much you really enjoy working with all of them. Today's arts and crafts was really creative. I am so impressed with Memory Care. The care staff was so helpful as well. And I was impressed to see how the care staff was cleaning when I arrived. The counter tops were being cleaned. The floor was being swept. It smelled so nice. It was a pleasure to be there. Keep up the amazing work. Residents look very happy!
We were happy with our experience. The staff went above and beyond to help us- even came to hospital to talk with our family member. Very professional and knowledgeable - and comfortable to be with during what was a very challenging time for us.
Management, staff are great and it is in a good location for our family. Only a few minutes from our home. Our experience with The Shores at Clear Lake has been very good. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice décor and layout as well. Overall, it's a nice community and Mom is happy there and we would recommend The Shores to other families.
Lower score for cleanliness, but they changed staff and the cleaning situation with her room is improved. The food is bland but they are feeding a lot of old people so there is not much seasoning.
I visited this facility I was most impressed with The Shores at Clear Lake. I like the activities and its proximity to my home. I thought it was a very clean place. The staff was very friendly. They were very accommodating. That would have been the one I would have chosen for my husband if I had to put him in a facility. I looked at the menu and it looked very appetizing. I was very pleased with that one, and that would have been the one I chose. I talked to the sales representative. She was very friendly, very helpful, and followed up to check and make sure that things were going okay even though I said I didn't know if I was going to do it or not. I thought they were very helpful. The staff seemed pleasant with the people who were there. And the people there seemed very happy.
The Shores at ClearLake has such an amazing leader in Angela!! She genuinely cares for each and every resident and staff!! I would recommand any place where she is at!

The staff at The Shores of Clear Lake go above and beyond to make sure that the residents are not only safe and healthy, but also happy and engaged. My father has been a resident for four years now and he and I could not be happier with this facility.
Mother has been a resident of The Village (memory care) for almost 3 weeks. My sister and I can't be more pleased! The entire staff of The Shores at Clear Lake are some of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever met. From the direct care staff to the administrative level, everyone is professional and takes pride in their work. The residential facility is beautiful and well kept. Mother's room is large and bright. I HIGHLY recommend The Shores at Clear Lake if you're looking for a residential placement for your loved one.
I am currently a resident at The Shores at Clearlake and the experience has been good for me overall, so far. They do seem to be short of help in the dining area a lot of the time. But overall it is a nice place. I would recommend The Shores at Clearlake to others.
Every time I visit I hear music and laughing. I am greeted warmly and I know they genuinely care about my loved one. She is safe and happy and that gives me peace of mind.
The friendly atmosphere and attitude of the staff is what we like most. The lack of following the schedule of activities and including activities for residents who have better health and memory in order to keep them active is probably our biggest concern. We do understand that part of the activities are based on the current residents.
I visited this facility The Shores at Clear Lake was very nice. The big difference was they were a larger facility than what I was kind of looking for. The rooms and the staff were very nice though. They gave us a lot of information. I saw the dining area and they gave us a whole big packet of information, which included the food that they serve and the activities that they do. I visited the memory care.

As a nurse I have been to countless facilities over the last 20 years and this facility is definitely one of my most favorite ones. First of all, the facility is gorgeous and very spacious. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The residents are always doing activities that the facility organizes for them. They encourage family and friends to join in too. It is right across from NASA and I see deer almost every time I go there along the fence line. Go take a tour, you will be impressed!

The Shores at Clear Lake is a wonderful place to bring my entertainment and music wellness programs to. I love working with the residents. They seem genuinely content and happy there. The staff is also very pleasant to talk to and work with. The Activity Director and the Executive Director are very professional. The facitity is clean and is a lovely place to visit.
The Shores of Clear Lake is a wonderful place for seniors. My mom has been there for two years and I am always impressed with the staff and cleanliness of the facility. The staff is caring, warm and attentive. My mom was recently hospitalized and the is now doing great through their care as they have on site physical therapy, a gym, salon, outdoor areas, fun activities and dedicated therapists who visit regularly. The staff appears happy and is always welcoming. This type of environment is not created by chance and is a result of the leadership by Executive Director Angela and the team. We searched for awhile before selecting the Shores and it has been the right choice. It feels like home for my mom and I am grateful.
