This committee is part of ASHA’s most recent Strategic Plan initiatives with the goal of helping increase membership engagement and uphold ASHA’s mission and objectives in serving the senior housing industry and its leaders. The Sales and Marketing Committee is comprised of senior housing company leaders in sales and marketing.

The purpose of the committee, as stated by ASHA:

As we continue to see senior living occupancy as a large focus for many of our organizations, ASHA understands it is crucial that we implement a sales and marketing committee to gather feedback, areas of opportunity, obtain more input and involvement from leaders in sales and marketing. This would also include strategic conversations and best-practice sharing with relevant industry peers, along with a sounding board or industry focus group for tactical decisions you will make for your organization.

Ms. Clark is excited to be selected to join the committee and represent Grace Management, Inc. within this select group in ASHA. “I am honored for the opportunity to be part of this group of respected colleagues and thought leaders in the senior living industry,” said Kymm Clark, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Grace Management, Inc. “Our industry continues to fluctuate and flourish, and we are well positioned to continue to be innovative in all we do to best reach our future residents.”

As we continue to navigate through the challenges of a global pandemic together, Grace Management, Inc. is not only providing innovative, industry-leading precautionary measures within our communities, but is also partnering with experts in health and wellness to share their knowledge and expertise.

We’ve partnered with Medical Advisor, Dr. Kevin W. O’Neil, MD, FACP, CMD, providing support and guidance as well as partnered with Dr. Regina Benjamin, MD, MBA, to help educate and support our associates related to COVID-19 and the importance of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Dr. Kevin O’Neil has graciously provided a series of videos with updates about the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of vaccination and mitigation strategies, resilience, optimal aging, meeting challenges, using humor, and more. O’Neil has been a great resource during internal communications as well as a great voice of expertise to the public.

As Good Neighbors in our communities, we are pleased to offer virtual visits and tours of all our communities whenever desired and appropriate. Our amazing teams of associates use applications including Skype, Google Meet, Facebook Video Chat, and others, to keep residents and their loved ones connected as well as provide much needed social and emotional connections if in-person is not possible.

At Grace Management communities, our residents have and will continue to engage and socialize. They stay connected with family and friends and experience daily, enriching programming events. Grace Management, Inc. recognizes life’s most essential joys are happening. This is evident through our communities’ sharing photos, videos, and updates through our Facebook pages. 

Each of our communities connect uniquely via Facebook pages that are a great tool of communication and information sharing with loved ones and the public.

In today’s digital age, we recognize the use of technology and social media to maintain and engage with the world around us in meaningful and purposeful ways. 

We are grateful to have a truly dedicated team of associates at our communities, at our Home Office in Minnesota, and traveling leaders in the industry working and serving together every day.

The impressive technology can be found in a number of The Village Program™ Memory Care neighborhoods at our communities that serve residents with Alzheimer’s or dementia-related needs. It continues to be very popular and a wonderfully interactive source of joy, fun, entertainment, and education. Our communities have discovered something unique that makes a positive impact on the daily lives of residents.

In fact, in 2019 two of our communities were part of the company’s 60/20 tour in which the iN2L company celebrated 20 years and the co-founder Jack York celebrated his 60th birthday with a cross-country road trip going to senior living communities that actively use their technology. Our communities Town Village Sterling Heights in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and Camellia at Deerwood in Jacksonville, Florida were two stops along the way for the iN2L co-founder and his cohorts. The road trip stops included traveling in the company’s van and singing some fun songs and showcasing new, interactive technology. We appreciate the work that iN2L has put into creating new, innovative resources that standout and provide an exceptional and unique experience at our senior living communities to this day!
